Practical Information

Arrival

For those of you who come by their own means (car, bus from downtown Ajaccio, hike, etc), please join directly the Cargese Institute on Sunday the 13th at 4:30pm. We will meet there and arrange for your accomodations.

For those of you who need a bus connexion from the airport on Sunday the 13th, and arrive before 3:20pm (included) at Ajaccio airport, the meeting point will be at the luggage pickup of the airport. Please wait there for everyone to arrive; everything will be organized from there on.

Dinners

Dinners (in particular Sunday evening) are not included. There are 4 restaurants downtown Cargese, and 3 at the Cargese port, open all days from 6pm to 10pm. There is also the possibility to cook in the accomodations, and the SPAR supermarket (located on Saint Jean square) is open from 8am to 8pm, Sunday included. 

Breakfasts

Breakfasts are served at the institute from 8am to 9am. Except on Monday, where the breakfast will stop at 8:30am, and on Tuesday where it will start at 7:45am and stop at 8:30am.

Miscellaneous

Individual flashlighs/pocket torchs are compulsory, as there is a ~20-minute walk (in the dark at some point) between downtown Cargese and the institute. Swimsuits and hiking shoes are highly recommanded.
